StudentLocker was founded by Hubert van Mierlo. As the father of two daughters, he served as President of the Parents & Citizens committee of their local school in Sydney for 3 years. He’s also an engineer and IT consultant with more than 15 years experience in IT roles for large companies in Australia. More recently, he’s helped lead and rebuild volunteer organisations, including serving as P&C President and several committee roles with the Rural Fire Service and residents’ organisations.

Hubert recognises organisations' pain points helps fix them. Locker management is one example. He's introduced IT solutions and automation into several organisations and successfully guided them through the change process.

Hubert is also a co-founder of McCloud Consulting.
